The tour begins with a pickup from your Launceston accommodation at approximately 06:20. Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre: Upon arrival, visit the Visitor Centre to grab a coffee and purchase your National Park Pass (not included in the tour price). Rangers provide insights on the best sights and activities. Cradle Mountain Shuttle: Access the hop-on hop-off shuttle service with your pass, making it easy to explore various scenic stops within the park. Activities Include: Hiking: Explore renowned trails like the Dove Lake Circuit, offering stunning views. Wildlife Spotting: Look out for local wildlife such as wombats, wallabies, and Tasmanian devils. Photography: Kayaking: Rent a kayak to paddle the waters of Dove Lake or Crater Lake. Wildlife Sanctuary: Visit Devils@Cradle to observe Tasmanian devils and support conservation. Scenic Flights: Opt for a scenic flight for an aerial view of the landscape. Interpretive Centers: Visit local centers for exhibits on the area’s history, geology, and ecology. The tour wraps up with a 14:30 departure from Cradle Mountain.
