Port Arthur Motor Inn
This comfortable motor inn, the only hotel within the Port Arthur Historic Site, offers true hospitality and a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Pause for a drink in the bar and enjoy panoramic views over Port Arthur, views shared by the restaurant where you can feast on fine Tasmanian produce. Or just relax in front of a roaring fire in the lounge. All rooms are air-conditioned for extra comfort, with a choice of different types of accommodation to suit all budgets. You can choose from Spa, Officer, or Guard rooms. Spa and Officer have queen beds whilst Guard rooms have a double and a single making them suitable for families. It is only a few steps to the beautiful parklands and convict buildings where you can easily spend a whole day and in the evenings the brave may experience a guided ghost tour by lantern light. The hotel offers a Port Arthur Ghost Tour package which also includes dinner, accommodation and breakfast.
