Carlton Cox at Blenheim Gallery Longford celebrates "A Thirty Year Journey" as a linocut printmaker with an exhibition of new works. This exhibition brings in local visual material from Longford his home town to further a field including Brisbane, Sydney and Bryon Bay places he has visited in recent times.

On the outskirts of Longford, just 30 minutes from Launceston, Blenheim Gallery and Garden is a unique Tasmanian experience showcasing artist works in a country garden setting. Exhibitions by contemporary Tasmanian artists in the under cover Gallery are held throughout the year with a range of artists works. With ten acres of gardens and stunning rural outlook, it is easy to spend an hour wandering the formal and park like grounds. The sculpture garden is a must see!

This exclusive tour is provided to explore the beautiful public and private gardens and country houses. The day will include visits to three properties in the Northern Midlands region and travel along Tasmania's historical Heritage Highway. The Northern Midlands is a significant place and much painted by famous artists Tom Roberts and David Chapman - a stunning landscape with Western Tiers backdrop. You will hear the stories of the families of the region and meet some of the owners who will take you around their garden Estates. Included in this tour is a gourmet lunch, morning or afternoon tea and entry to three (3) private gardens. This tour operates with a maximum of twelve people. It is not available all year round and must be booked to align with the seasons Departing Longford and or arranged location
