The Red Feather Inn is a charming collection of historic sandstone buildings built by convict labour in 1842. The classic Georgian architecture of the Inn has been rejuvenated and given new life as boutique accommodation. All suites and rooms at the Inn are beautifully appointed overlooking the secluded garden, each featuring superior quality beds, state of the art bathrooms, delicious breakfasts, gas log fires and more. Accommodating up to 35 people between the Inn and the neighbouring three historic cottages. The Red Feather Inn is centrally located 10 minutes from the heart of Launceston and 15 minutes from the airport. Explore the beauty of the region, or snuggle in and enjoy the very best Tasmanian produce in our restaurant. Red Feather Inn welcomes Tasmanian Walking Company walkers as the departure base for the Cradle Mountain Huts & Bay of Fires walks.
