Mount Field, Mount Wellington and Tassie Devils
Mount Field National Park offers a variety of walks in Tasmania’s oldest National Park. Most famous for Russell Falls and the Tall Trees, we explore the various walks and regions of this diverse area which is only a 90 minute drive from Hobart. Easily Tasmania’s most recognisable waterfall, an easy and enjoyable walk along a beautiful track that takes us to the Horseshoe Falls. We also make our way along the Tall Trees Track where high above us stand the giant 80 metre Swamp Gums. This is a series of short walks amongst the rainforest, eucalypts, streams and wildlife.
We enjoy a lunch break in one of the numerous beautiful settings at Mt. Field.
Continuing through the picturesque Derwent Valley, to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, home to rescued and well-loved wildlife. Tassie Devils, wallabies and local favourites are all here. To top off this very Tasmanian day we head to the summit of Kunyani/Mt. Wellington (1271m) Hobart’s iconic backdrop. The views from the top are breathtaking and vistas expansive.

Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park tour
Wineglass Bay has been voted among the top beaches of the world. A perfect crescent shape, stunning colours and dazzling white sand make this one of Tasmania’s "not to be missed" locations.
Wineglass Bay is nestled in the Freycinet National Park on the East Coast. One of Tasmania’s first National Parks this is a coastal area rich in stunning landscapes. Pink granite mountains form the backdrop for secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife and walking trails.
Highlights include Freycinet Marine Farm, Freycinet National Park, and Wineglass Bay Lookout. If you prefer to select the shorter walking option, then we return from the Lookout with our Guide and explore areas of the National Park. Cradle Mountain Day Tour
Cradle Mountain National Park is an area of world-famous scenery with a variety of walking trails to choose from.
With five hours to spend in the National Park, we leave our walking itinerary flexible to suit guests and weather conditions on the day.
Enjoy a stop in Sheffield the 'town of murals'. Sheffield is a small and quirky village where the history of the Cradle region is depicted in artworks across the buildings.
Continue into the mountains and arrive at Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake. Our guides will assist to ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy short, or longer walks that best suit them.
Choose from the gentle and iconic Dove Lake Circuit or climb to loftier peaks to view the vastness of the surrounding World Heritage area from Marion’s Lookout. Enjoy lunch by a quiet stream, watch the famous and friendly Cradle wombats in their natural habitat. Cradle Mountain is the backdrop for a truly memorable and not to be missed Tasmanian experience.
On our return to Launceston, refresh and refuel at the delicious Van Dieman's Land Ice Creamery and Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm. We return into Launceston around after a huge yet unforgettable day.

Port Arthur and Tassie Devils
We head to the stunning Tasman Peninsula, home to Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Enjoy the panoramic views from Pirates Bay Lookout, and along the spectacular Waterfall Bay Clifftop Track. This is one of Tasmania’s “Great Short Walks”, around 45 minutes, concluding at the rock formations of Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen. Next is the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo. We enjoy the action of a Devil Feeding. Hand feed the wallabies and walk amongst the local fauna and flora in the charming “Unzoo” setting.
Just a short drive from here, we enter the Port Arthur Historic Site. Here you have around 2.5 hours to explore the site. Your entry includes a complimentary Harbour Cruise around the Isle of the Dead, ‘The Port Arthur Experience' a podcast that provides a fascinating introduction to the site, and complimentary site talks throughout the day led by Port Arthur’s expert guides . Discover the violent history of the early Australian Penal system and get a sense of the isolation experienced by the convicts in this “inescapable prison”.
On our return , we arrive at historic Richmond Village. Meander the streets, stop for a coffee and walk across Australia’s oldest bridge. We arrive in Hobart around 6pm.

Wineglass Bay Explorer Tour
We travel through the well-preserved Georgian townships of Evandale and Campbell Town . You will have time to grab lunch and discover the Convict Brick Trail that extends through the town.,
The amazing view of The Hazards mountain range greet us as we enter the National Park. We begin by walking Cape Tourville Lighthouse circuit. This easy 20 minute walk has spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding coastline.
Then it’s onwards to the main walk for the day, to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, a moderate uphill walk of around 60 minutes. Once at the top you are rewarded with that world famous view of Wineglass Bay and the stunning Freycinet National Park. The walk to the Lookout is one of the Great Short Walks of Tasmania and requires good mobility and adequate fitness.
From the Lookout you have the option to return to the start of the walk with our tour guide, or for the keen hikers you can choose to spend the rest of your time completing the Wineglass Bay beach hike.
Our final stop on the East Coast is the stunning Devil’s Corner Winery, to enjoy a wine tasting, wood fired pizza, fresh seafood and ice creams.

Port Arthur, Richmond & Tasman Peninsula – Active Day Tour
We head to the stunning Tasman Peninsula, home to Australia’s highest sea cliffs. On our return we arrive at historic Richmond Village. Meander the streets, stop for a coffee, and walk across Australia’s oldest bridge still in use – a convict built sand-stone bridge, reported to be haunted!
Finally, we arrive back into Hobart around 6pm.

Maria Island Active Day Tour
Maria Island is a stunning island off an island National Park just a short 45 minute boat cruise off the East Coast of Tasmania. It is rich in local wildlife, amazing scenery and world heritage convict history. With no cars on the island, we enjoy a series of short walks exploring the beautiful Painted Cliffs, the dramatic Fossil Cliffs along with the remarkable Darlington World Heritage convict site, old Oast houses and the early settler's cottages and farmsteads.

Launceston to Hobart via Wineglass Bay

Tahune Airwalk and Hastings Caves
This tour travels South of Hobart into the great Southern Forests, along the Huon River and Huon Valley.
Walk through the trees suspended 40 metres above ground.
Explore the Tahune Airwalk and to walk along the Cantilever, stretching for 597 metres through the treetops. Enjoy the sensation of being suspended above the Huon River with breathtaking views across the treetops and surrounding mountains. Time to explore and enjoy more walking is available. Take a 45 minute walk to the Swinging Bridges with a 50 metre span across the river, or a shorter 20 minute Huon Pine walk.
Then further south we drive to delve 40 metres underground into the vast chambers of a cave tour.The Hastings Cave Reserve is another spectacular place to enjoy a variety of activities. Bring your swimming gear and jump into the thermal springs with 28 degree water. Relax in the beautiful forest surrounds or wander the Hot Springs Nature Trail where the warm water meets cool.
The cave tour is conducted by the National Parks expert guides. Cave temperature is always 9 degrees so bring your jumper along. We head underground to explore this spectacular cave which is Australia’s largest tourist Dolomite Cave.
