Birchwood is central to Cradle Mountain, historic Stanley and offers a central base to stay in comfort and explore doing day trips right across Northern Tasmania. Birchwood Accommodation overlooks Victoria Parade parklands and Mersey River where the Spirit of Tasmania and trading ships, sails past daily. Devonport Qantas link Airport is ten minutes by car or shuttle bus. Apartments have their own private entrance, free onsite car park, and free wi-fi. Adjacent is a scenic, ocean/river walk/jog/cycle exercise track. The Nut at Stanley one and a half hours, Launceston is one hour, Burnie is 40 minutes and Hobart is three hours by car.
