This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. Enjoy peace and quiet at my property in the sea town of Dodges Ferry surrounded by nature and wildlife. The property offers several different areas to choose from to pitch or park, all sandy with green areas, a fair few flat spots, and also one concrete slab. Position yourself to take advantage of the ocean views. The property is within walking distance to the local Bistro, 1km from Okines Beach, 3km from the surf beach and 3km from the shops with a local bakery, butcher and a Hills Supermarket. There are no facilities here, so you must be fully self-contained, and take all waste with you. I can however provide water or power for a small fee. Campfires are welcome wood can be supplied at a fee. Dogs are welcome however be respectful of wildlife and pick up dog waste.

Blue Lagoon is a quality recreation and accommodation centre for school camps and other groups of 20 people or more. Providing a range of fully catered and self-catered options. With the campsite able to sleep up to 100 people in dormitory style accommodation. When it is time to take a breath with loved ones. Soak in the ocean views, bathe under the stars and feel the sand between your toes. The Sandy Sister, a 60's surf shack, is the perfect place to relax. Just a short walk to two beaches (including a surf beach), located near the entrance to dog walking beach. There's an outdoor bath, decks for sunset drinks, comfortable bedrooms and plenty of living space. In a quiet beach town 40 km from hobart, 25 km from the Hobart airport, it is a great base to explore the region. 1hr drive to must see attractions MONA (47km), Port Arthur Historic site (58 km) and Maria Island Ferry (74 km).
