A tour specifically brewed for those with a thirst for History! Duration: 60 Minutes From humble beginnings, a succession of dreamers and doers have diversified and refined Cascade Brewery from a mill by a stream to a fountain in the foothills, quenching the thirst of generations. Though long since gone, these custodians of Cascade have left their marks upon the site. Stand where they stood and see what they saw. Join us as we unbottle our past and tap a tale or two of this iconic Tasmanian institution. Important Information: This tour does not enter the Cascade Brewery. All ages are welcome Please arrive 15mins prior to your tour for check-in. Tours will leave promptly at the advertised time. Welcome to "Cascade Cottage", located in one of Hobart's closest and Historic suburbs, directly across the road from the World Heritage Site Cascade Female Factory and down the road from the famous Cascade Brewery. Offering air conditioning and off street parking. It's perfect for small families, couples or friends travelling together. Great living area that boasts a comfortable 6-seater dining suite. The dining area flows onto a lounge room with 2 sofas (one of which folds down into a double bed). Younger guests can lounge about whilst watching videos on the large smart TV or playing a board game. The home sleeps 7 guests, including three bedrooms and a double fold out sofa bed in the lounge room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with built in robe, and desk and chair overlooking the old female Factory. The second bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed, The third bedroom has a queen bed, paired with a desk and chair as well as a mobile cot. Just off the 3rd bedroom is the Main bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. The home has two toilets. - All linen included, provided by our professional linen service. - 3 km walk or drive to Hobart CBD shops and cafes ( Cascade walk follows the Creek down the road from home) - Bus route right around the corner.
