Wild Mersey E-Bike Tour

There's nothing like earning a good meal with even better drinks with a big day out. This adventure we take you through the scenic back country from Devonport, through to the highlands where you will embark on an epic ride through the Mersey Forest, passing lakes, forestry and seeing the mountain views from the highlands. You'll see a huge variety of the local Tasmanian scenery unique to the area, hopefully along with a variety of wildlife. This is a larger ride. You don't need to be able to pedal the whole way as the E-Bikes do the majority of the work for you. You do need to know that it is a long time on a bike. If you love fresh air, exercise, good food, drinks and adventure, you won't get much better anywhere than this tour. DIFFICULTY Physical - It’s a long time riding. You need to be able to ride a bike for several hours. Electric bikes do the work, but you're still on the seat.

When we go to a restaurant, we always try and find things to eat that you can’t make at home. We’ve put together a tour that does just that. This adventure takes you through some of Tasmania's finest food and farm experiences, which introduces you to truffles, ginseng, Tasmanian salmon and Tasmanian wines and ciders. Heard of chocolate honey? It’s worth tasting. Try 40 varieties of honey and witness the working bee-hive at Melita Honey… a sweet start to our adventure. Take part in a truffle hunt and tasting, ride around the farm on our E-Bikes, and meet the friendly farm animals. Then stop at 41 Degrees South Tasmania. Here, you’ll visit the working salmon and Ginseng farm. Take a short walk to see the farm’s beautiful surroundings before tasting some fresh produce. If that’s not enough, we have more! We head to Spreyton Cider for a tasting paddle and a chance to reminisce on your favourite foods. It’s a perfect space for wrapping up our tastings. A stop for coffee and we’re back on the bikes again towards the Bluff Lighthouse for a photo opportunity. Before lunch, we hop on the Don River Railway, visit the museum and get a glimpse of history. End the day with some good food and sun at Marion Storm. If you love fresh air, a bit of exercise, great food, and adventure, this tour offers the perfect blend for a day out in Devonport.
