There are also four motel-style rooms with guest laundry. More than three acres of surrounding bushland is filled with eucalypts, acacias and native plants. Keep an eye out for local wildlife including possums, wallabies and yellow-tailed black cockatoos. You are perfectly positioned to explore the Freycinet and Douglas Apsley National Parks. Stop by local wineries and choose a bottle to enjoy on your deck at the end of the day. Bicheno is just over a two-hour drive southeast of Launceston (174 kilometres).
