Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self-contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The campgrounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport. The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the waterside and enjoy the sounds of nature. Campers must be self-contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control. There is rainwater available. Recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill. This is a working farm, so please have respect for the host property and livestock. $10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking.

Lucinda B&B is a Victorian-era property circa 1891. Set upon four acres of park-like grounds with ample off street parking. They are genuinely only a 10-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and the Devonport Airport. Close to all Northern Tasmanian attractions which include platypus, fairy penguins, national parks, chocolate making, cheese making, whisky distilling, wine production, caving, Cradle Mountain to name a few. Lucinda B&B has been owned and operated by Fiona and Glenn Waddle for the past 20 years. They live on the property and are always available for any assistance their guests may require during their stay.

The Latrobe Working Hostel is a working hostel for travellers on Working Holiday Visas. The hostel offers job information and introductions. The accommodation varies in style from private two-person rooms or shared dormitories and is centrally located to Costa Berry Farms and vegetable processing factories. The town centre is five minutes' walking distance. There is public transport to Devonport City which is only ten minutes away. The Spirit of Tasmania ferry from Melbourne is a 10-minute drive away. Launceston city is a one-hour drive or bus from Launceston airport. Room rate includes all electricity and gas, all bed linen, and 24-hour high-speed Wi-Fi in every room.
