The Tarkine Drive

This amazing waterfront beach house has recently been refurbished to offer you modern comfort amongst the wild Arthur River landscape, and can sleep 10 people in seven beds!! There are three bedrooms, including the double sofa bed in the lounge if required. The main bedroom has a huge two person spa bath, king sized bed, its own satellite TV, DVD and en suite. Bedroom two features a queen size bed and satellite TV DVD. Bedroom three sleeps four people in single bunks. The open plan kitchen / dining / lounge has wonderful large windows that make the most of the sea view, toasty open fireplace and a comfy leather lounge and satellite TV. Just outside is a glass sheltered North (river facing) outdoor entertainment deck with its own open potbelly fireplace, sound system and BBQ.

Peppermint Campground is a campground near Arthur River, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania. Peppermint Campground has water on site and is located close to the Parks and Wildlife Visitor Centre​​ on Arthur River Road. All local water should be boiled for 3 minutes or treated before drinking. ​​The campgrounds has access friendly, flushable toilet facilities. Take care on grassy areas. ​ Campfires are only permitted at designated campgrounds within designated fireplaces. Always check local signage and the PWS website for campfire restrictions before lighting a campfire. Please take all rubbish away with you. Total site number and capacity are estimates only. Bookings are not required​ but camping fees apply. There is a maximum number of six people allowed per camp site. The office is open daily 9:30am to 4pm. If the office is closed, there is a 24 hour self-registration of camping fees located at the front porch area of the Arthur River Parks and Wildlife Service Office.
