It also features a library, and lounge area with open fires, a 100 single malt whisky collection and a private dining room for group dinners and special occasions. Guests can indulge in an ultimate highland experience choosing from feeding the herd of Scottish Highland cows, whisky tasting, fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking or simply exploring the areas many attractions such as the Wall in The Wilderness, Lake St Clair or Mt Field National Park. Tarraleah Lodge is part of the Tarraleah Estate, built to house those working on the pioneering Hydroelectric development in the 1930-1960s.
