Built in 1932, Kermandie offers boutique accommodation in the heart of the Huon Valley, Tasmania – just 50 minutes from Hobart. Recently renovated, the hotel blends old world charm with modern comforts. Cosy, character-filled ensuite bedrooms provide options for singles, couples and families. In the evening relax by the fire in our private guest lounge, before you join us for dinner. Alternatively, right next door the Kermandie Lodge offers the flexibility of queen and twin accommodation along with self-contained Family Units. Esperance a la carte restaurant serves carefully crafted meals featuring local produce. Local wines, beers and ciders are available on tap. Casual counter meals are also available from the bar. Esperance Restaurant is open 3 nights a week for dinner. The Bar is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. There are two function rooms available to book for meetings, conferences, intimate family gatherings or formal occasions such as weddings. The Kermandie Marina and scenic Huon river are located right on our doorstep. Whether you travel by car, boat, seaplane or helicopter, Kermandie is the perfect launching point for your Huon Valley experience. Port Huon Cottages offer self-contained accommodation at Port Huon in Southern Tasmania. All accommodation at Port Huon Cottages are designed around the spectacular views over the Huon River and the Hartz Mountains. The cottages are self-contained, private and have balconies, all with fantastic water and mountain views. We have a total of 9 cottages available and can offer guests a choice of one and two bedroom cottages – including a spa cottage. Port Huon Cottages are located in the centre of the Huon Valley on the banks of the beautiful Huon River with major attractions such as the Tahune Forest Airwalk, Hastings Caves and Thermal Pool, as well as many boutique wineries all within approximately a one-hour drive from your cottage door. It is also perfectly situated for easy access to the Hartz Mountain National Park and the World Heritage listed South West Wilderness Area.

Located on the banks of the iconic Huon River between Castle Forbes Bay and Port Huon we are the only true riverfront location in the region and have stunning panoramic views of the Huon River and the famous 'Sleeping Beauty' mountain in the distance. The Anchorage provides fully self-contained deluxe accommodation with everything you need. Both bedrooms have king-size beds and full size en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, infants and young children can be accommodated in a cot or rollaway bed in the master bedroom upstairs with their parents. Enjoy a dip in the solar-heated pool or relax in the sauna. With the lawn reaching to the water's edge, you can wander down to our jetty, throw out a line, and be enchanted by the surrounding views. You may spot dolphins and seals venturing to this area of the river and a mooring is available for your boat by prior arrangement. The riverfront location is both private and calming with panoramic views over the Huon River to the Wellington Range in the distance. The tranquillity of the Huon River can be enjoyed at any time of the year and the Anchorage offers a unique opportunity to stay in total comfort right on the river's edge surrounded by nature in the beautiful Huon Valley.
