The Macquarie Heads Camping Ground is situated approximately a 30-minute drive from Strahan, offering bush camping and caravan accommodation. The camping ground is located at the northern end of Macquarie Harbour in Strahan. Access is by travelling along a gravel road. Unpowered Sites are available for a daily fee and a caretaker is on site. Macquarie Heads Camping Ground provides good grassed sites next to the Harbour and is suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. A boat ramp, public toilet and dumping point are available. Please carry your own water and firewood. You can have a picnic at the nearby Swan Basin picnic area, walk along the Ocean Beach or go fishing in Macquarie Harbour.

Welcome to Rosy Summers, our newly restored and unique miner’s shack in Lettes Bay. Set back from the water and tucked cosily amongst other shacks, Rosy is a surprising interpretation of a traditional miner’s shack. From its pink-painted exterior you enter into an expansive sanctuary. Spend your days admiring the glimpses of the bay, sitting by the fire, making a delicious meal or lazing on the large linen sofa.
