The Church Campbell Town

The Church Campbell Town Tasmania arial view showing location on Midlands Highway
The Church, located in Campbell Town, is a heritage-listed sandstone property built in 1857, steeped in rich Scottish and Tasmanian history. Recently restored, after being closed for over 25 years, the owners are very proud to be able to showcase this important part of Tasmanian history. With the motto of "Where Scotland & Tasmania Meet" it offers a truly unique experience with its historical significance and acreage of beautiful park-like grounds. Church on Sundays takes on a new meaning, with live music, local markets, and a showcase of Tasmanian food and drinks, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors every Sunday. The Church also serves as an exceptional venue for weddings, corporate meetings, office hire, styled and fully catered garden picnics, and other events. Coach tours and group visits are welcomed, by prior arrangement, with private events tailored to provide a memorable experience. Guests can enjoy an immersive historical slideshow that tells the story of both The Church and the surrounding region, ensuring that every visit is informative and engaging. With its fully fenced grounds, gardens, caravan bar, immaculate facilities and picturesque setting, The Church is a perfect place for events and gatherings that blend Tasmania’s natural beauty with its Scottish heritage. We are temporarily closed, opening in February 2025.
