Welcome to "Quoll Hideaway - Bruny Island Bush and Beach Camping" is a slice of paradise waiting for you to join us. The plot is nearly 3 acres and is earmarked conservation land and surrounded by neighbouring conservation land. This is your perfect lunawuni/Bruny Island escape! It is tucked away from the no-through gravel road and surrounded by Australian bush and wildlife with filtered water views of D'Entrecasteaux Channel and located 100 metres from the beach. It's a tranquil heaven yet so close to all the famous Bruny must-dos and sees: Bruny oysters, beer & cheese (why not bring some to the campsite to enjoy?) The Neck, Truganini Lookout, penguins and the Cape Queen Elizabeth Track and other hiking trails. Not far from Adventure Bay and the white wallabies and the South Bruny historic lighthouse. Except sharing it with the local wildlife.

Heron Cove, Bruny Island offers a large flat campsite with waterfront camping on a sheltered cove behind Umbrella Point off the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. The property has direct water access and free-to-use sit-on kayaks which you can use to explore Apollo and the Snake Bay coastline. Wildlife is in abundance, with plenty of eucalypt woodland that provides excellent bird-watching opportunities. Located just 15 minutes from the ferry it offers a gateway to both North and South Bruny attractions including, House of Whisky, Dennes Point, and Quarantine Station. Bruny Island Oysters, the Cheese / Beer Factory, Adventure Bay, and the South Bruny National Park. An idyllic natural base camp to just relax or explore Bruny Island. Please note that Heron Cove has open water on the block and easy access to the cove, so no toddlers on site. Toilet/disposal facilities are NOT provided so visitors will need to be fully self-contained.
