Sabi Stays
Sabi is a Japanese-inspired retreat that beckons solitude and stillness. A refuge of calm, free from distraction, Sabi is located in the heart of the Bay of Fires in the quaint seaside hamlet of Binalong Bay. Perched on a hillside overlooking the bay, Sabi is a 300-metre walk from one of Tasmania's most spectacular beaches. Designed around the namesake philosophy of wabi-sabi - finding beauty in imperfection - the handcrafted stone and timber cabin provides a sensory respite and quiet take on luxury. Pure in its authenticity, the retreat is raw but refined in its minimalism. Intentionally pared-back providing a place of quietude, Sabi celebrates negative space; there is no excess, no clutter. Sublime in its simplicity, the cabin provides a calming and tranquil space to restore and reconnect. The cabin accommodates two to four adults. Both bedrooms boast king beds atop purpose built platforms rendered in textured microcement. Located on the mezzanine, the spacious primary suite has framed views across Binalong Bay and a repurposed barrel bath with copper-liner for a Japanese-style onsen experience. Sabi is incredibly unique and arguably the only accommodation offerings of its kind in Australia. An antidote to life's stressors, Sabi offers a restorative stay with all the luxuries of a designer stay in one of Tasmania's most sought after locations.
