For your comfort, a reverse cycle air conditioner is provided and you'll appreciate the warmth and ambience offered by the wood heater in the living area. There is a TV here also but you're likely to be looking at the view including the Backdrop of the "Hazards". There is also a BBQ area which is a must after you have spent the day fishing on the beach, only metres away. The setback position offers open coastal vegetation, and wildlife native to the area includes wallabies, possums, echidnas and wombats. Situated 15 minutes from Swansea, 30 minutes from Bicheno, 40 minutes from Coles Bay & the spectacular Freycinet National Park and only 2 hours from either Hobart or Launceston.

To enjoy the bay, you can simply walk 30 metres and take your chairs and esky and spend the day marveling at the views and bird life, or even grab the kayak and paddleboard for some healthy fun. Wineglass Bay is just up the road in Freycinet National Park. We only welcome guests over the age of 50 who have a fully self-contained vehicle. There are no amenities as yet so you must BYO everything you need and leave no footprint.
