Perched high up above Peppermint Bay it is nestled amongst a significant wildlife corridor stretching all the way to Mt Wellington. The retreat is renowned for its stunning views along the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island and beyond. Intriguingly different, the Two Self-Contained Eco Studios have been built from strawbales, rustic stone, blue gum poles, and recycled corrugated iron.

Green Gables B&B offers a one bedroom apartment and a Studio in a serene peaceful environment within a mature parklike garden setting. The private one-bedroom apartment is on ground level and easily accessible and has its own outside-covered verandah for you to sit and enjoy the gardens and view the bay. It accommodates two guests, and is equipped with everything you need or may not. Free WiFi keeps you connected to the world, should you feel the need. The delightful Garden View apartment is an oasis of calm with a garden outlook and its own secluded verandah. It sleeps 2 people comfortably in a queen sized bed dressed with beautiful french linen sheets. It has a large ensuite with a generous shower and gorgeous window seat to rest on.
