Sawyers Bay is a great location to be on Flinders Island as we are central to everything the island has to offer. We are just a 15-minute drive from the main town but at the same time isolated in pristine wilderness on a beach with no public access. The shacks are fitted out with good quality furniture, linen and kitchen appliances. The property is teeming with wildlife, including hundreds of wallabies that come out to feed on the pasture at dusk. A visit to Sawyers Bay Shacks is a magical experience you will remember for life.

Emita Cottage is a cosy fully self-contained two-bedroom cottage (sleeps up to 4 guests) and is located a short 15-minute drive from the Whitemark airport. Set in a quiet location at Emita with views over Marshalls Bay you will want to take home. Emita cottage is ideal for a couple or up to four people wishing to explore Flinders Island while using a centrally located base. However, if you don't feel like travelling you are only two minutes from Allports Beach and the Castle Rock Coastal Walk, which is a great way to explore the fantastic local coastline. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linen/ towels etc. are provided. Emita Cottage has two doubles and has a wood stove to keep the place warm in cooler weather. There is a TV/DVD and a CD player to keep you entertained while at home. At the end of the day the large deck lets you unwind and enjoy the views while cooking up dinner on the BBQ.

Allports Beach House on Flinders Island combines the qualities of a classic Australian beach house with a spacious Mediterranean villa. The north-facing property is a three-minute walk along a native bush track to the sparkling turquoise water of Allports and Emita Beaches, and a short drive to Boat Harbour, Lillies Beach and Sawyers Bay. Sliding doors lead onto a wooden wrap-around deck, offering expansive views across Bass Strait to Castle Rock and Marshall Bay. The designer kitchen provides a full range of modern cooking facilities including a coffee machine. There are gorgeous navy velvet sofas, comfy reading chairs, a large dining table and a wood-burning heater – all of which help to create an idyllic island escape. Two generous queen-sized bedrooms (one with en-suite) have private access to a balcony and waterfront views. A third contains a single and double bed. Every bed has luxury designer, 100 per cent cotton bed linen and hotel quality doonas.
