The Exchange Hotel welcomes locals and guests to enjoy a truly authentic Tasmanian experience in the heart of the Tamar Valley wine region. The Exchange Hotel is part of the rich history of Beaconsfield and has been on this site since 1879. Bar @ The Exchange Hotel Beaconsfield provides an extensive list of high quality Tasmanian produce that ranges from wines produced within the picturesque Tamar Valley to beers hand-crafted in breweries across the state and award-winning spirits distilled by some of the worlds best. In summer, try one of our unique cocktails on the back deck or wait for winter to warm up by the fire with a glass of local wine. In addition to our tailored bar experience, enjoy a cheese or meat platter or some hot bar snacks to keep you warm. We also often feature local food vans and a special 'Wine of The Week'. Keep an eye on our socials to make sure that you don’t miss out! So, whether you visit on your way through, or become one of our regulars, enjoy a slice of history in our faithfully restored heritage hotel. Open to the public from 2:30-8:00pm Thursday and Saturday, 2:30-10:00pm Fridays. Takeaway sales available over the bar or by arrangement.
