Winter wonderland pub night at Hamer's

Artists from all over Tasmania have been invited to respond to the theme of 'Light House'. The exhibition will be opened on the Strahan Solstice weekend and will be open to public until the 31st of July. This formal opening will be an exclusive, ticketed only event. Tickets will be limited. Attendees will be greeted at the door and offered a glass of Tasmania wine or beer, along with nibbles of local produce.

Delight in an evening of culinary indulgence as Strahan Village presents a five-course wine dinner at View 42˚ Restaurant and Bar. Enjoy a carefully curated menu that showcases produce from local growers and producers, paired perfectly with the finest of Tasmanian wines. Piners Loft offers self-contained accommodation in Strahan on Tasmania's wild West Coast. This multi-level pole house of native and recycled timbers is spacious and welcoming. There are three bedrooms (two with queen beds, one with two singles) and a well-equipped kitchen and laundry. Bathroom facilities include a bath and shower, an outside shower, and two separate toilets. With its huge King Billy and celery top pine poles, blackwood beams, recycled timber doors, windows and floorboards and Huon pine kitchen, Piners Loft is a feast of timber. There is a large bush garden filled with native birds. Enjoy some peaceful downtime while you are here. Located across the road from Macquarie Harbour, Piners Loft is your ideal base for exploring the wild beauty of Tasmania's West Coast, an area of magnificent temperate rainforests, wild coastline, rivers and wilderness. It is a short walk to the shopping centre, the cruise boats and the wilderness railway and only a short drive to the magnificent Ocean Beach. Cruise the Gordon River or ride the historic train through rugged mountain wilderness or enjoy the experience of 42 kms of deserted beach. Macquarie Harbour is the gateway to the World Heritage Areas of Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park and the Southwest National Parks. Harrison House located in Strahan on the West Coast of Tasmania is a traditional Bed and Breakfast offering boutique-style hosted accommodation. Outside take in the fresh air on the verandah or wander the gardens to share time with the abundant birds and wildlife in this tranquil setting. Located midway between the wharf and railway station, the major tours and attractions are only minutes away, including Gordon River Cruises, West Coast Wilderness Railway and Hogarth Falls.

This is our new three bedroom self-contained free standing house at 9 Innes Street, right next to our Studio “King” and two-bedroom apartment “Kelly” at 11 Innes St. It has two bathrooms. The ramp to the house and the walk in shower make this easy for wheelchair access. The 9 Innes Street East property has two queen bedrooms, and the third bedroom has a bunk set suitable for two adults. The kitchen, dining and living areas are quite large. The free BBQ is on the large deck facing Macquarie Harbour. Free WiFi.
