Twin Lakes is an authentic bush retreat set on 3,000 acres of spectacular Tasmanian bushland and is widely known as one of Australia's best privately owned fly fisheries. It is located less than an hour from the Hobart CBD and Airport. There are two main accommodation options - Monty's Lakeside Cottage, one to six guests, and the Lakeside Homestead, up to ten guests. Twin Lakes is the perfect place for guests to stay, completely unwind, and immerse in the beautiful bushland next to their private lake. There is comfortable, stylish, well-appointed accommodation and indoor and outdoor wood fires. Guests are welcome to stay and fish the lakes at their leisure or book fly fishing guiding and tuition during their stay. It's the perfect place to learn to fly fish. Other bush activities and experiences on offer include clay target shooting and premium bush adventure tours suitable for private groups. The bush tour consists of a first-class 'wild abundance' dining experience at neighbouring property Twamley Farm. A truly authentic Tasmanian experience. If guests are travelling from Hobart International Airport, Twin Lakes is a scenic 40-minute drive away and is close to the spectacular East Coast of Tasmania, including the gateway to Maria Island. They offer transfer services from Hobart by minibus or by helicopter in partnership with Tasmanian Air Tours.

A unique 1840s converted stable located on the grounds of Twamley Farm homestead. The Stable is a beautifully renovated two storey sandstone building overlooking the hills of Twamley Farm and nestled under English oaks, perfect as a romantic country getaway. The Stable features your own private outdoor cedar hot tub. The traditional wood-fired hot tub offers blissful, therapeutic soaking in the beautiful surroundings of Twamley Farm. There is a stunning queen size bedroom located on the upper level with an ensuite bathroom, while downstairs offers a contemporary open plan living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The Stable offers a well-stocked gourmet mini bar, full breakfast provisions, Nespresso coffee pod machine and gourmet pre-prepared meals on hand. You will enjoy relaxing by the wood fire with a glass of our local East Coast Pinot Noir or getting out in the country air, exploring the farm and surrounding bushland.

The Farm Pod is located in the grounds of Twamley Farm homestead with its own private garden and an outdoor area featuring one of our trademark firepots and outdoor woodfired cedar hot tubs. Ideal for couples and solo adventurers. The Farm Pod is perfect as a romantic country getaway. A contemporary and modern space with some retro touches, the Farm Pod has a fully self-contained kitchen, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and stylish lounge dining area that opens onto the front deck for enjoying the morning sun and views of Twamley Farm. The Farm Pod offers a well-stocked gourmet mini bar, full breakfast provisions, Nespresso coffee pod machine and gourmet pre-prepared meals on hand. You will enjoy relaxing by the outdoor fire pot with a glass of our local East Coast pinot noir or getting out in the country air, exploring the farm and surrounding bushland. Grab one of our mountain bikes and explore Twamley Farm's many bush trails. Guests can enjoy a private garden with BBQ specifically for the Farm Pod accommodation.
