Branxholm Lodge, located only 8 km from the famous Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails by road or accessible via the Branxholm to Derby trail head only 100 metres away. Branxholm Lodge offers accommodation for 1, 2 or up to 12 people. Located on what was the old Branxholm Primary School grounds, Branxholm Lodge has plenty of room to move for small and large groups and loads of parking space. With two bedrooms (each sleeping 7 people), a large comfortable and modern kitchen, lounge, dining area with a flat screen TV to relive your daily rides on the big screen. Keep warm inside with reverse cycle air-conditioner/heater inside. Two bathrooms, outdoor undercover entertaining/bbq area to keep out of the sun or rain, large quadrangle area with fire pit for the kids to run around. Bike wash and laundry area. Plenty of parking space and additional vans can be accommodated. Centrally located for adventure, we are located close to waterfalls, mountain bike and walking trails, hikes, cheese factory, wineries and gin distilleries. So much adventure on your doorstep.

Branxholm Park camping ground is a free campground, however, we encourage all campers using the Park that wish to contribute, to pay $20 per site/per night. A ticket machine is located at the toilet block, or you can pay via the Strada Mobile App. The Park has unpowered sites, toilet, shower and laundry facilities available. The park is located in the middle of town, on the banks of the Ringarooma River. The park also offers a tennis court, playground and swimming pool (open during summer months only) and provides easy access to the Briseis Walking Track and the Valley Pond link trail, an 8km trail connecting through to Derby. Bookings are not required. Driving time from Launceston is approximately one hour and 20 minutes or one hour and ten minutes from St Helens on the East Coast. Please note that the maximum stay is 14 days.

‘Just Down The Road’ is a collection of three self-contained cabins located in the historic town of Branxholm. This once-sleepy tin mining town is the perfect location for those with relaxation, romance, or adventure on their mind. Every cabin has been built with style and comfort in mind, they are raw yet refined. Think exposed Tasmanian timber cladding, bespoke streamlined joinery and large windows allowing guests to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Hops Farm next door and beyond. With a private outdoor bath and deck and a communal space featuring a fire pit, BBQ and barrel sauna it is the ideal spot to unwind, read a book or enjoy a few drinks on sunset. Designed for couples each cabin sleeps two; however, the large communal space makes ‘just down the road’ great for small groups when two cabins are booked together.
