Robin Hoods Well Farm Stay is a historic mid-1800s property located in the beautiful countryside of Sassafras, North West Tasmania. The farm stay accommodation cottages are situated on 60 acres of pasture and nature reserves. It's 15 minutes from Devonport, 5 minutes from Latrobe and 45 minutes from Launceston. Catering for: Families, Couples, Groups, Farm Experience, Nature Lovers, Photographers and Artists. Long John Cottage is a two-bedroom self-contained cottage. A comfortable home away from home, suitable for families, it can sleep up to five guests. This cottage has its own private secure gardens with chickens and fruit trees. The Garden Studio is a King bed studio with an en suite bathroom. It has a kitchenette and dining, king bed suite and north-facing private verandah incorporating the best views. The studio is for adults only. Parking right at your door. The Homestead is a six bedroom, two bathroom property for those large families, or couple who wants to experience an 1860s homestead. They offer homegrown fruits(seasonal) and raw honey, with plenty of space to relax in surrounding landscaped gardens and farm walking paths. The accommodations are self contained and self check-in and your privacy is important to communicate via phone if you need any assistance. The campsites are alongside Franklin Rivulet at Harford, a picturesque tidal estuary that offers leisure activities such as fishing, kayaking, bushwalking, bird watching, oystering, wildlife spotting, egg collecting, and dog patting. Located just 15mins to Port Sorell, Bakers Beach, Narawntapu National Park and Anvers Chocolate Factory. 25 minutes to Devonport, one hour to Launceston, one and half hours to Cradle Mt and surrounded by attractions from Berry Farms to Wineries and stunning farmland. 'Farm on Franklin' is a 50-acre property being developed into a Regenerative agriculture-based family farm endeavouring to be environmentally sustainable and economically viable. We produce free-range, forested pork on a small scale. Our pigs are the happiest you'll ever see. This is a beautiful natural campground on land near our home. You must be fully self-contained with your own toilet/shower and leave no trace. You'll feel a million miles away by a lovely river, but actually, so close to the best attractions Tassie has to offer, it's also a destination in itself!

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self-contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The campgrounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport. The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the waterside and enjoy the sounds of nature. Campers must be self-contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control. There is rainwater available. Recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill. This is a working farm, so please have respect for the host property and livestock. $10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking.
