Cornwall Cottage is located in a private wing of Cornwall Homestead, a 14-minute drive from Hobart. Set on 40 acres the cottage offers spacious rooms, is quiet and has magnificent rural and water views over Barilla Bay. Cornwall Cottage accommodates up to two guests in rooms beautifully furnished with country-style furniture and antiques. One bedroom has a queen-size old style iron bed. There is a full bathroom, a separate toilet and a laundry is available on request. A large sitting room is equipped with a large digital television, DVD player, CD player, with a library of discs and books. The kitchenette has all the electrical appliances you'll need to cook up a storm and there is an outdoor barbecue. Ingredients for a hearty breakfast such as farm eggs, cereals, home-baked bread and homemade jams, tea, coffee, milk are supplied. There is private access and plenty of parking is provided. Cornwall Cottage is ideally located to visit all the attractions the South has to offer including the historic Richmond Village, wineries and restaurants. In Hobart visit Salamanca Place and Market and Mount Wellington. Take a day trip to Port Arthur, Mt Field National Park, the Huon Valley, or MONA Museum.

This is your chance to live in a stunning waterfront home, enjoying some of the best views Hobart has to offer. Perched at the edge of the River Derwent, wake up each morning to the luxurious view of the waterfront at your feet and explore the bushland just behind. All this serenity is just walking distance to Lindisfarne Village and a quick 10 minute drive to Hobart’s CBD. Walk-in the front door to a well-equipped kitchen leading to a substantial living area that boasts a comfortable 10 seater dining suite. The dining area flows onto a lounge room with two large sofas (one of which folds out into a double bed). Younger guests can lounge on a couple of bean bags whilst watching Netflix on the large smart TV or reading some of our complimentary books. Next to the lounge room is a large upper-level deck that overlooks the stunning River Derwent. With a comfortable outdoor dining suite, there’s even a BBQ. The home sleeps 9 guests, including three bedrooms and the double-fold out sofa bed in the lounge room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed.
