One of Australia’s most successful Tenors, internationally acclaimed sensation Mark Vincent, will perform an intimate version of his acclaimed show From London’s West End To Broadway for a limited audience presented at Launceston’s beautiful Princess Theatre. Mark Vincent will perform songs from some of the greatest musical theatre productions including The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Evita, Oklahoma, South Pacific and many more. Singing from the age of 15, Mark Vincent has gone on to become one of Australia’s most beloved tenors, having released nine consecutive #1 ARIA Classical Crossover Albums, earning accolades at home and around the world. He is Australia’s top-selling Classical Crossover recording artist. Mark Vincent has appeared in the musical Dirty Dancing and in the revival of My Fair Lady, directed by Dame Julie Andrews, at the Sydney Opera House. Audiences can expect a magical night to remember with one of our most acclaimed voices.

Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the workers that the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress, the millworker, the mason and the housewife, just to name a few. Nominated for six Tony Awards, this classic has been updated for a modern age, featuring new songs by Tony Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as favourites by Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Micki Grant, and more. This new version of Working is a musical exploration of 26 people from all walks of life. While most of the professions have been updated, the show's strengths are in the core truths that transcend specific professions; the key is how people's relationships to their work ultimately reveal essential aspects of their humanity, regardless of the trappings of the job itself. The show, expanded to include the true stories of local Launceston residents, contains timeless truths.
