Welcome to Southern Forest Accommodation at Southport in Tasmania's Far South. Home to the Cottage on our 43 acres forested property and Elements - Lady Bay, an off-grid house overlooking the southern d'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island. We provide relaxing and comfortable places to stay for anyone enjoying a quiet getaway in a natural setting. Both properties are not far from a choice of four beaches in Southport and just a short drive away from the Southwest Wilderness World Heritage area. If it is nature you are seeking, then come to the Far South. Only 90 minutes south of Hobart and you'll find wild coastlines, deserted beaches, magical temperate rainforests, dolerite caves, and fabulous walks either up mountains, through forests or along the coast. Visit Hastings Caves, drive to the southernmost settlement Cockle Creek for fantastic day walks, enjoy a Kayak trip on the Luner River with Esperance Adventures or just relax and take in the quiet beauty of the Far South. Cottage in Southport: two bedrooms for up to five guests, kitchen, bathroom, large deck with BBQ. Elements Lady Bay: two bedrooms up to four guests, adults-only, kitchen bathroom, large outdoor area, off-grid.

A self Contained two bedroom house, amazing views and a pair of sea eagle nesting in the gum trees out front. One bedroom has a split king that can be turned into two singles beds if required. Close to the general store and hotel where you can get amazing meals. Lots of walking tracks and the fantastic Hasting Caves. This stunning design, incorporating simplicity with modern lines. Practicality was imperative, designed by Scott Combs, this build needed the best of the best to complete this design. PA Dance a multi award winning builder was chosen. Phil Dance one of the Directors of PA Dance and a Master Builder was hands on with this project. It may look simple but there were a number of challenges throughout the build process. The quality will show out in time.
