Woolmers Estate offers colonial accommodation across six self-contained cottages in Longford, Tasmania. Built in the 1840s, the cottages range from one to three bedrooms and can accommodate between two and six guests. Four Free Settlers Cottages have been designed to appeal to groups of friends travelling together, couples and independent travelers. These cottages are in blocks of two with doors that may be opened to interconnect them if required. Each cottage has a wood burning heater plus electric heating and a self-contained kitchen. The cottages were once home to tradespeople who worked on the estate. Woolmers Estate is a significant example of a 19th century rural farm settlement in Australia. Wander around the extensive grounds, colonial buildings and the Rose Garden. Soak up the atmosphere of a bygone era and take a guided convict tour or guided tour of the main homestead. This splendid homestead has family collections, original furniture and memorabilia. Located an easy 25 minute drive south-west of Launceston (24 km), the estate gives a unique insight into early colonial life.

Brickendon Estate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site offers visitors a delightful collection of self-contained Historic and Farm Cottages. The Coachman's, Gardener's and Old Farm Historic Cottages are surrounded by gardens and offer traditional colonial accommodation with open fires combined with modern facilities. Each cottage has its own character with options including deep baths, separate showers and bathroom floor heating. Pumpkin, Sweetcorn, and Pea in a Pod Farm Cottages enjoy the magnificent views of the English-style countryside and were built from recycled materials. Wood heaters keep our Farm Cottages toasty warm overnight. Electric heating and electric blankets are also provided for guest comfort in all cottages. Hearty continental breakfast provisions are included in the tariff of each cottage and our cottages are fully self-contained with all linen and cooking facilities provided. Panshanger Estate provides boutique accommodation near Longford in Northern Tasmania. Fully equipped and self-contained accommodation is offered in the newly renovated, northern wing of the main homestead. Dating from 1830 the spacious private apartment features, a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a separate bath and shower, a living room with a working fireplace, reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast featuring fresh local produce is available daily. Tennis, river fishing, garden walks, and cycling can be enjoyed within Panshanger Estate garden and farm.
