Psycho! | Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra

A woman playing percussion instruments.
A Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra concert featuring the music of Alfred Hitchcock's movie masterpiece Psycho, as well as a mesmerising performance by award-winning percussionist Claire Edwardes. This story-driven concert program also features Sibelius's The Swan of Tuonela and the best of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. It closes with a bush tale from Australian composer Iain Grandage. Grandage wrote Dances with Devils for award-winning percussionist Claire Edwardes – a sight to behold as she moves from one instrument to another, landing wherever the music takes her under the baton of conductor Benjamin Northey. It’s a visual and musical feast that has to be experienced first-hand.
