Launceston Ukulele Jamboree | Friday Night Concert & Ceilidh | Launceston

Images of an event on a purple background.
The Friday night concert will be a raucous romp, starting with musical entertainment on the shuttle bus from the CBD to St Ailbes Hall, just six blocks away! You’ll be in fine form by the time you spill out into this historic venue that has hosted concerts and dances for generations! The grand old venue will be set up with table seating, but with plenty of room to join in some traditional Scottish dances called by Master Ceilidh Caller, Graeme McColgan (NSW), with music provided by Green Fieldz, Sally Carter & Keith Rea (VIC). After the dances, Graeme will be joined on stage by his band, The Stovies, to provide Celtic and Australiana music, and Green Fieldz will finish the night out with blazing fiddle tunes - there’ll be plenty of audience participation, so get your voices ready! Food and bar facilities are available at St Ailbes, provided by the fundraising team of St Patrick’s College Music Department. Shuttle Buses Transfers from CBD (Brisbane Street, Outside Target).
