Exhibition 'Where To Next' Opening Event: Wayne Z Hudson Sculptures

You are invited to join us at Blenheim Gallery and Garden for the opening of the Wayne Z Hudson exhibition (free event). Wayne lives in Launceston, and throughout his life, his artistic pursuits have been extensive, both academically and through exhibiting, with works in many major collections. In 2000, Hudson was awarded the Rosamond McCulloch Studio in Paris by the University of Tasmania and supported by the Australia Council. In 1993 he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth 11, Art Council of New Zealand. Hudson has collections at the QVMAG, Launceston, TMAG , and the MONA Collection (Museum of Old and New Art) in Tasmania, and other prominent local and international collections. Hudson has completed 28 Public Art Commissions in Tasmania and South Australia. In 2002 he was appointed Head of Sculpture at the School of Visual and Performing Arts, University of Tasmania, Launceston. It is free to attend, if you would like to attend the exhibition opening, please contact us via email or phone. The exhibition is available to view after the launch through to Thursday the 10th of October 2024.
