Inspirational musical leaders will teach us a three-part popular harmony and participants will find themselves singing along joyously without a care in the world. A part of a Permission to Trespass - Wonders of Wynyard (WOW) presents a tipple and tour of the winter exhibits at the award-winning exhibition and visitor information Centre. Featuring a dram and local meet the maker conversations with Alchymia Distillery & Hellyers Road Distillery sharing their product such as the Aurora Australis or a decadent Whisky Cream, plus a local produce platter to share. Be wowed by the rich cultural stories from Palawa exhibiting artist, Jye Crosswell. It will not be a visit to the WOW without a swoon over Australia's oldest Veteran Car collection lit up at night! Plus, as always there's great gift shopping available (and after-hours specials) and you will take home your own Wynyard souvenir to remember the evening. This popular long-table lunch, in its third year, has become a signature event in the "Permission to Trespass" series of events around Table Cape and Wynyard in NW Tasmania during Tasmania's "Off Season". The owners invite you to share a delicious, 6-course degustation meal with paired wines in the dining room of Table House, a unique private villa sitting majestically on Table Cape with sweeping views over beautiful farmlands to Bass Strait. Joseph Bugg, arguably the most popular chef in NW Tasmania until he changed careers a few years ago, was enticed back into the kitchen for the inaugural event at Table House in 2023. It was such a resounding success, with lively conviviality and conversation among strangers, that he's agreed it should be an annual fixture in his calendar. Local identity and very engaging, internationally qualified sommelier, Devon Cruickshank, again will pair a fabulous selection of fine Tasmanian wines to complement Joseph's fine food. Having worked in vineyards overseas and in Tasmania, Devon has a profound knowledge of wines and how they are made. Come and enjoy a long, lazy Sunday afternoon. Whether there be sparkling seas or wild winter storms, the views from this dining room never disappoint. But get in early.
