Your new Odd Job

Swap your day job for something otherworldly. Fans of history and mystery are wanted as the resident paranormal investigator at Willow Court, Australia’s oldest continually run asylum. Unearth its secrets, armed with the latest detecting devices and your keen investigative skills. You’ll enter the maximum security ward for the criminally insane and tune into the signs of paranormal activity.

Responsibilities

• Unravel the unsolved mysteries of the asylum as it comes alive after dark.
• Delve into the records of previous investigations to help you spot what to look for.
• Learn the dark history of Willow Court and follow your senses to new discoveries.
• Use the latest light-and-sound-sensitive equipment to conduct your research.
• Capture and document any disturbances, spectral figures, or unexplained phenomena.

Skills and attitude

• A sixth sense to keep you attuned into interactions with the otherworldly.
• A magnetic personality that entices the paranormal to communicate with you.

In return

• This is a one-day volunteer position, where you will get to spend the evening investigating the paranormal and learning the secrets of Willow Court Asylum’s past.
• Take a break from your regular routine and get your heart racing with this otherworldly Odd Job.
• The successful applicant will be compensated with flights to Tasmania, car hire, two nights’ accommodation, and a bounty of local artisanal goods for their time.
