The Wombat Studio is a comfortable, well equipped self-contained studio apartment with private entrance which comfortably accommodates two guests and includes a continental breakfast. The property is in a quiet semi-rural location overlooking Frederick Henry Bay, a 20 minute drive to Hobart city and a 15 minute drive to Hobart Airport. It is an ideal base for a number of popular tourist attractions. The area provides a convenience store, post office, doctor's surgery, chemist, cafe, take away outlets and tavern all within a few minutes drive from the studio. There are also a number of very good restaurants within a short drive. The area is renowned for its safe swimming and nearby popular surfing beaches. The Tangara Trail winds through the Acton Corridor and offers some excellent walking opportunities. The coastal track that leads from Roches Beach and follows the foreshore ending at Seven Mile Beach is a must. The property is also close to the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, the Royal Hobart Golf Course and a number of other popular golf courses. The Coal River wine region is also nearby and offers a first class selection of Tasmanian wines and the finest of dining. Own transport is required.

Farnese Olivo is a family hobby farm set on five acres overlooking the Coal River Valley in Acton Park, just 15 minutes from Hobart CBD. The Duck Hole is a historic farm dam offering a quiet rural experience. Complimentary inclusions for all campers include free access to: - potable drinking water - shower (open air, cold only) - bring bathers. Great in summer, only for the brave in winter! - rubbish bins - fire pit - firewood (provided for free, for use in the fire pit) - cast iron BBQ plate and skillets for cooking in the fire pit - picnic table and chairs overlooking the dam - dam side hammock - portable cassette toilet (located outdoors) The property was established in the early 1980s on the site of one of Hobart's oldest farms (the original house built in 1826 still stands as a beautiful family home 2 doors up on our street). The old dairy still stands as visitor accommodation opposite the front of our property offering a glimpse of farm life from the past 200 years.

Once full of old charming beach shacks the suburb has undergone significant renovations to create a simply stunning modern beachside community, the home is thoughtfully designed to enhance the stunning water location on Frederick Henry Bay. The perfect beach house for the perfect getaway or hideaway you chose, just relax and listen to waves wash away your troubles. Entering from the front deck into the lounge room you find a large comfy lounge with a smart TV with Netflix. For those who want to sit back and chill, maybe read a book there are two swivel recliners. The airconditioned kitchen and island bench like most of the house has undertaken a major reconstruction, The newly renovated kitchen has all the modern appliances, namely a manual expresso machine with pod capability, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, oven just to list a few appliances. Off the kitchen is the laundry with a washing machine and clothes dryer. There are two large bedrooms one with a king-size bed and the other with a Queen size (Tasmanian-made mattresses), both bedrooms have electric blankets, and panel heaters as well as ample hanging space.
