The Paragon Theatre in Queenstown Tasmania was built in 1933 in true art deco style. This unique building with its hand-painted art deco patterned floor now offers many options for your entertainment. Join the regular weekday screening of the FRANKLIN, an epic rafting adventure to retrace the story of Australia's most significant environmental battle: the saving of the Franklin River. Doors open 4 pm, Franklin Screens at 5 pm. Groups of all types can book an exclusive dining and movie experience. Contact us for options and reservations. Or just call in and for a small fee take a self-guided tour of the theatre to take in its history and visit the intact projection box. A 15-minute short about the theatre screens with every self-guided visit with proceeds going towards the continued restoration of the building.
