Tasmanian Bushland Garden

Buckland Bushland Garden
Buckland Bushland Garden
The Tasmanian Bushland Garden is a free-entry botanical garden and nature reserve northeast of Hobart, Tasmania. It is located in a peaceful rural setting beside the Tasmanian Highway. Footpaths meander through Display Gardens and a Memorial Garden featuring the native plants of east Tasmania, with interpretive signage. There are also walking tracks through the 20 hectares of bushland with scenic views and abundant birdlife. Facilities include public toilets, a picnic shelter, picnic tables, electric barbecue, free car and bus parking. The gardens have been established by a group of passionate volunteers, using donations and grants, so that visitors may enjoy a break, reconnect with nature, and learn something of our wonderful native flora. The aim of the gardens is educating people to the values of our indigenous plants, both in nature and in garden situations. Keep an eye out for some amazing sculptures all around the gardens. The Tasmanian Bushland Garden is located near Buckland, 50 kilometres (31 miles) northeast of Hobart.
