Hidden in the valley of rugged hills of the wild west of Tasmania, in a town rich in mining history with grand relics of its early days, this theatre was once the largest concert theatres in Australia and is now over 124 years old. This tour is for those who have been on a ghost tour but want more, so join us After Dark as we explore this grand old relic and discover what secrets this theatre has to tell. Access to some areas of the theatre may be difficult for some due to the number of stairs.

The West Coast Heritage Centre tells the story of the history and development of the West Coast and its rich pioneering past. All parts of the West Coast are represented in the comprehensive display of photographs, mining memorabilia and machinery. Included in your entry is access to the historic Gaiety Theatre. Built in 1898, the Gaiety Theatre was considered one of the grandest buildings on the West Coast and one of the best theatres in Australia. The museum's attractions include the historic collection of the original Zeehan School of Mines and Metallurgy (unique in the world), photographic galleries dedicated to all the West Coast towns, classic locomotives, mining machinery displays, a blacksmith and wheelwright shop, marine display, a world-class mineral collection, freemasons display and a pioneer women's gallery. Your visit to the West Coast Heritage Centre and Gaiety Theatre will enhance your visitor experience of the West Coast region.

The Zeehan outdoor swimming pool is located on the Counsel Street, Zeehan. The pool is open for the season - 1 December finishing 31 March each year. The pool is heated to 29 degrees Celsius. The pool closes if the outside temperature drops below 16 degrees. Facilities include public showers (cost to enter pool), change rooms and toilets.
