This peaceful eco-retreat has six self-contained cottages on the banks of the Ringarooma River - just 8 km from Blue Derby MTB trails. Two-bedroom cottages suit couples and families. While studio cottages with outdoor spa are perfect for a romantic getaway. You can wander along the riverbank, explore bush trails or mingle with friendly alpacas on the 36-acre private alpaca farm. River-based activities are great too and include swimming, kayaking and fishing. Because you have your own BBQ, why not cook up that trout you just caught? The hosts are serious about reducing waste. So they will help you compost food waste, recycle your empties and avoid disposable plastics. A micro-hydro generator and solar panels generate electricity for the cottages and export the surplus into the grid. In addition, three-phase EV chargers are available for guests. Basic breakfast ingredients are provided. The cottages are close to wineries, cheese-makers, waterfalls, beaches, Musselroe wind farm, sensational golf courses and Blue Derby mountain bike trails.
