Sunrise Place - Above the Trees

Welcome to the Bicheno Golf Club. The club is located on the sunny east coast of Tasmania about 5 km north of the town of Bicheno. The course currently consists of 9 holes and 18 tees both the course and greens are fully irrigated to provide excellent playing conditions all year-round. We have a fully-equipped clubhouse and the course is open seven days a week for play. The clubhouse is open with full bar facilities every week on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday; on other days there is an honour system located in the foyer for green fee payment. Visitor green fees are $20 per day - unlimited holes. Social Golf fees are also available. $50 per week or $100 per month. All holders of a Golf Link Number are very welcome to play in our Saturday Competitions. Membership is currently open. There are no associate memberships - both ladies and men have equal rights. Club and pull buggies are available. Electric cart is available for $30.00 a round.

It's as wild and natural as it gets, an unforgettable after-dark experience watching Tasmanian Devils devour their dinner, while you enjoy some of Tasmania's finest wine and cheese. You’ll be undercover in a spacious hide, watching as if you were a filmmaker for National Geographic, inches away and literally eye to eye with the world's largest carnivorous marsupial. Devils in the Dark tour is operated by East Coast Nature world, the development of this tour was seen as a way to help raise awareness of this endangered species. It's the only way to see how devils behave in the wild and we take every effort to replicate this fascinating behaviour. This tour is exclusive, maximum of 16 people, with a minimum age of 6 and above. The tour runs for approximately 90 minutes.

Offering daily Tasmanian Devil feeding presentations, wildlife encounters and for a more exclusive option join a Devils in the Dark tour or the Ultimate Tour. Hand feed and interact with free ranging Kangaroos, wallabies and birds. Along with your entry supporting conservation and rehabilitation of Tasmanian Wildlife. BYO picnics and food welcome inside the sanctuary grounds to enjoy the serenity surrounded by nature. The gift shop has a wide range of souvenirs with a wildlife and Tasmanian theme. Wheelchair and pram-friendly paths along with a playground. Bicheno is a two-hour-15-minute drive (177 kilometres) from Hobart.
