Saintys Creek is a tranquil and beautiful body of water flowing through centuries-old forest and dispersing into the serene Cloudy Bay Lagoon on South Bruny Island. Saintys Creek Cottage is located on a secluded bush block, a short walk from the creek, and a million miles from the stresses of modern life. From the outside, this beautiful timber cottage looks like it may have once housed early settlers, but inside, it is timber-lined, warm and welcoming. The large living and dining space has an open fire coupled with electric heating and a clean trouble-free kitchen with comfortable furniture. Double glass doors open up to the large outdoor living deck with a step down to the attractive grassed garden area below—at dawn or dusk, you will often share the space with one of Bruny Island’s unique White Wallabies; 'regular visitors to this garden'. Sitting outside enjoying the serenity of forest life with a nice bottle of wine accompanied by exquisite local cheeses and engaging with the stunning bush surroundings is a typically mesmerising Saintys Creek Cottage experience.
