Quamby Corner Caravan Park

Small distillery and bond store situated at the base of Quamby Bluff and surrounded by forest. Bogan Road Distillery offers guided tours by appointment and is a paradise for nature lovers, bird lovers and of course whisky lovers.

Quamby Bluff, the northernmost peak in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, provides panoramic views of Northern Tasmania including the Central Plateau and Great Western Tiers. The original inhabitants of the area were the Pallittorre Clan of the northern nation of Aboriginal Tasmanians. The walk takes you through the rainforest and over scree as it winds its way to the summit. Some bushwalking experience is recommended for this grade three 4-5 hour hike. This is a one and a half hour farm tour is designed for families with kids or the young a heart. Guests visit the goats and have goat cuddles and lots of interaction. They also get to see the ducks and meet alpacas Lucy and Leya. Then on to see the miniature Hereford girls and their little ones. For those who love to see the ponies, Arnie and Dolly would love a pat and Nashville our farm pup will lead the way. Your guide will talk about miniature livestock and how they can work in together on a smaller farm and show where the girls are milked to make our wonderful soaps and skincare range.There will be opportunities to purchase some of these products at our Farm Store after our visit to meet the animals. Guests can take as many photos as they like but there is also the facility to take some shots and sublimate them onto a keepsake while you wait.
