Poet's Cottage is a beautifully restored heritage-listed Georgian home in the township of Stanley. Having been authentically and sensitively renovated, this grand lady offers luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation in one of Tasmania's most beautiful regions. Positioned beneath the iconic Nut of Stanley and perfectly located for easy access to the village, beaches, restaurants and bars, wildlife experiences and beautiful walks. Stanley is the gateway to the stunningly beautiful Tarkine region and the Edge of the World, all within easy drive. Each of our five ensuite rooms sleeps two people and all have been authentically styled to the period. Each has its own Fireplace and Television. Our shared spaces include a fully equipped modern Kitchen, an elegant Lounge room, and a Cellar beneath the house which can be used as a conference/games room facility. Outside spaces include a French Courtyard and garden settings.

Our rooms are all individually styled, and whilst sympathetic to the Georgian era, epitomise luxurious comfort and all the modern amenities. Each bedroom has its own electric fireplace, and smart TV. The beautifully appointed lounge room enjoys stunning evening sunsets, while the open plan , light and warm kitchen, enjoys the early morning sun, and offers access to the French courtyard for summer dining options. The full breakfast options promise culinary delights and all dietary preferences are catered for. The Cellar, offers guests yet another shared space which can be used for cosy winter wine tastings, games, or alternatively a great meeting room for corporate guests.
