The ground floor Echidna room has easy access to the open and spacious bathroom.
The DA shower is easily accessable from your room with 920mm door openings to all areas.
The Lorikeet room is accesed via a staircase and has its own private ensuit.
The Blue Wren room is accesable by staircase and has its own private ensuit.
Both the upstairs Lorikeet and Blue Wren rooms has thier own private ensuits
Platypus Retreat is a rustic log and stone cabin offering bed and breakfast style accommodation. Situated just a short drive to either Stanley or Smithton and the start of the Tarkine wilderness loop drive of North West Tasmania. There are three rooms available that can accommodate up to six guests. The property is surrounded by a little over four acres of bushland and cattle farms. There is abundant birdlife and a creek to sit beside and rest up or relax by. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible and has a dedicated DA Bathroom. Also offering facilities and onsite car parking. Your host lives at the property and is only too happy to assist with any matters or travel recommendations.
