Stepping back in time, the unique farmlet in Penguin will charm you with its old English gardens and farm buildings C.1948. Nestled on top of a hill amongst Blackwoods, Blue Gums and wild birds, this place has a special romance with each season. If staying in, be surrounded by whimsical comforts or be entertained by their friendly Australian Miniature Goats. Prepare to be enchanted. In your cottage, they provide a queen bed with luxe bedding, extra blankets and hot water bottles. Split air conditioning for heating or cooling and a small extendable table is provided along with a TV, DVD player, movies, WiFi, outdoor seating, private shower and toilet. Carefully chosen books, games, and puzzles also to enjoy. Kitchen/cooking facilities are limited to a small outdoor barbecue, microwave convection oven, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle and fridge/freezer. They provide breakfast for guests, including coffee, tea, milk, bread, juice, muesli and fruit. Hideaway Farmlet is an Australian Miniature Goat Stud including dairy goats. You have the opportunity to greet the minis and dairies up close at feeding time, weather permitting. Hideaway Farmlet is central to the northwest and just over 1 hour's drive to Cradle Mountain, Stanley and Launceston. Stay at least two nights to visit all the beautiful and unique surrounding towns all under an hour's drive from the farmlet.
