We are a crystal, mineral and gemstone shop with a twist! You can select a hand-cut gemstone from local artisan and owner Shane Stanfield and have it made into a unique silver jewellery piece on site. We also have an extensive mineral display from Tasmania, the rest of Australia and also from other parts of the world.

For a seaside town of fewer than 4000 residents, we have much to offer. Our beautifully rejuvenated foreshore invites you to walk/bike from the eastern boundary along the foreshore through Preservation Bay & Sulphur Creek to the Bass Highway where our sentinel psychedelic penguin, named Pablo, greets/farewells you. The App showcases 28 of our CBD attractions, covering a distance of just 3 km, past artwork, heritage and natural attractions. So much to see and enjoy. Welcome

Ours is a free 90-minute self-directed 3km audio walking tour in partnership with Cya on the Road. It showcases Penguin's 28 CBD tourist attractions and is voiced by locals. Starting at the famous and much-photographed Big Penguin, often dressed to the hilt for special occasions, visitors amble along our recently refashioned beach foreshore. Past many of our heritage buildings and public artwork, heading up to our much-publicised heritage cemetery and vantage point overlooking Bass Strait and the CBD. Then back via the Dutch windmill park to our once world-famous heritage-listed roadside gardens via parklands, restaurants, cafes and our large undercover Sunday market. The app is also available in Traditional Chinese (for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau tourists), Simplified Chinese (mainland China) and Japanese.
