Launching near the boat ramp is best for kayaking in the Scamander River. You can paddle around the mouth of the river or head upstream for as long as you want. Plenty of bird life and fishing or just enjoy the serenity. Stunning views around every bend in the river.

The Scamander River Golf Club, at the Scamander Sports Complex, has a well-maintained par 72, nine-hole course. Course length is 5778 metres with a feature par five of 569 metres. The clubrooms offer bar service and meals each Friday evening. Stunning views of the river and surrounding bush areas make this a beautiful course to play.
