Freycinet Experience Four Day Lodge Based Walk Tour
Travel from Hobart to Coles Bay, taking in sweeping views on the Freycinet Peninsula. On arrival at Coles Bay, board the Naturaliste for a spectacular sea cruise down the peninsula to Schouten Island (weather permitting). After a picnic lunch, walk up Bear Hill for magnificent views, or fish for dinner in Schouten Passage. The boat returns to Coles Bay and you are transported to Friendly Beaches Lodge for the night. Day two is a peaceful walk through forests and beaches to the renowned Wineglass Bay, or you can choose to tackle the more challenging walk to the top of Mount Graham, descending via the spectacular Quartzite Ridge to Wineglass Bay. Explore Bluestone Bay on day three then journey through pristine bushland via secluded cliff-tops to the Southern Friendly headland. Follow the white sands of Friendly Beaches home to the Lodge. After breakfast on day four, there are walking options around the Lodge's 130-acre property, or you may wish to relax on the deck with a book from the extensive library. After lunch at the lodge, a stroll along Friendly Beaches brings you to Isaac's Point. Here, you are met by our vehicle for the journey back to Hobart.
