Peter is on hand to advise on fish weights and measurements, and whether a fish can be kept or must be returned to the water. Catch a fish you’d like to eat, and he can help you prepare for cooking on your return. Unique Fishing Tours Tasmania is a small and exclusive company run by expert Tasmanian fisherman and angler Peter Donati, from Launceston. We offer fishing tours for individual and small group fishing tuition (a maximum of three people per group) and tours for visitors and locals, with a promise of exceptional expertise and personalised service. Get ready for a truly memorable day in the stunning waterways and landscapes of Tasmania - and some great fishing! We specialise in a large variety of fishing, including Trout fishing (fly fishing, lure or bait fishing), Bream fishing (fly, hard body, soft plastic or bait fishing), surf fishing (lure and bait fishing to target Gummy Shark, Black Back Salmon, Blue Spot Flathead and many others) from the shore, and King George Whiting from the Tamar River (estuary) with over 40 species of fish to target (Snapper, Sharks, Salmon, Trevally, Flathead and many more).

Launceston Horticultural Society Presents: The Annual Cactus and Succulent Exhibition and Sales To satisfy all you Crassula Connoisseurs, Aeonium Admirers, Sedum Seekers, Echeveria Enthusiasts, Fenestraria Fans... (ok I won't go on) this year's event will be held one day only!!) Bringing in vendors from all over the state who have a fabulous variety of exotic plants for sale and on display and expert growing advice. Feast your eyes on the awesome display of plants that will be set up in the hall to look at between shopping Bring Cash! Door entry is cash only and while most vendors have electronic payments some do not Bring a Bag/Box! Again many vendors will have bags/boxes but some may not. Bringing your own bag helps us to make a sustainable event Ramp access available For your convenience, a Rustic Bakehouse Coffee cart will be outside the hall.
